Since I was showing property in the area, we stayed in Calico Rock just over the hill from Main Street. I’m glad we checked this museum out. I figured it would like a lot of small town museums, small…boring…not very creative but we were pleasantly surprised the information, artifacts, displays, etc were very tastefully and creatively displayed. I enjoyed each one of the scenes. I liked that the local artisans work (within 50 miles) are on display for sale. It’s great to support them by purchasing their products. Downstairs has some fun activities for the kids to do. Did I mention it’s free? Be sure to sign their guest book so they are able to continue to receive their grants! Great job Calico Rock!
