The Calico Rock museum and art gallery is one of the best small town museums I have explored. The history is well told, especially the Winter Camp exhibit which shows life for early settlers in the Ozark Mountains Most of the gifts I buy come frome the Artisan's Coop within the museum. There are great gifts, the woodworkers are wold class, to suit almost anyone.

These guys have so much more going on than I ever would have guessed. Full CSI experience in the basement, as well as several other interactive science experiments in the basement. It's definitely worth checking out.

What a hidden gem this place is ! Really informative and interesting exhibits. Beautiful craft items for sale at low prices. Talented artists give live demonstrations of their craft making.
